Split the bill.
Keep the
friendship.
Snap the receipt. Tap who had what. Everyone leaves square — to the penny. No spreadsheets, no awkward, no math at the table.
Three taps from "who had the wine?" to settled.
Photo of the receipt. We read every line — name, qty, price, tax, tip. Bad lighting and crumpled paper included.
Tap a line, tap who had it. Multiple taps to split. Long-press a chip to undo. Non-Rece friends added by phone.
Per-person tally to the penny. Share a keepsake. SMS friends who aren't on Rece — they see their share without installing.
Every settled bill becomes a record.
Rece turns the splitting moment into a thing you can save, send, or revisit. A perforated paper receipt with everyone's signature and a tamper-evident record ID. Not a screenshot — a keepsake.
We're early. Here's exactly what's built and what's next.
No fake stars. No "as seen in." We update this list every Friday — if a thing isn't checked off, it isn't built yet.
Hi. I'm Greyson — and I've been working on Rece, in one form or another, since 2017. A college friend and I were broke NYU kids who needed to split every dinner check to the penny so nobody got overcharged (and nobody overcharged anyone).
It's been a side project ever since — many GitHub repos started, many quietly abandoned. With the Claude Max plan as a co-pilot this year, I've finally crossed from "almost done" to actually almost shipping.
No newsletter. No drip campaign. Just the launch.
